Has anyone seen or went for IOMG over Fjord?

I've seen Fjord with Frozen Portimao and loved the colour, I've seen IoMG in various lighting and I love it, I had the paint sample next to interior sample and it looked great, but I never seen the combo in real life together so I'm still wondering if that will work.

And since I have now a production date set... I have to make up my mind

The HAS springs are 5mm shorter than the OEM springs, so even with the collars turned all the way up, the car will still have a 5mm drop front and rear. The rest you do by adjusting the collars.

There are YouTube videos demonstrating how to do it without removing wheels (for front) and how to do it without removing the rear lower control arms on the rear. Tommy Garage I think, others as well

Thanks a lot, I knew I saw it somewhere but couldn't find it anymore. I hope that jbenegasi indeed replies with more photos My build is due CW18 and it's currently set to IoMG over Fjord but still not 100% if this would look nice.

Alternatives are Fiona or Tartufo.

With Fiona my reservation is that it might look too aggressive or, quoting Clarkson, like a training shoe

With Tartufo I'm concerned if that color really suits the character of the car - Tartufo looks awesome in 8-series but M3 is more sporty car and not sure if that would not be boring after short while. Plus it's a shame that it's not bi-color as all other options.

Change my mind please

It won't. The fiona leather looks more like dark red clay. I ordered mine with Fiona and have no regrets. The training shoe analogy is more applicable to Kyalami Orange

I went with Tartufo since I thought it was the more "classy" option that I think will age well. I was on the fence about getting the Kyalami since I think it matches IOMG just as well but has a more sporty vibe. I wasn't completely sure how I would feel about orange if I own the car for a long time and since they stopped offering the door panels color matched unless you went full leather, that helped make my decision much easier.

I went with brown (tartufo) because the orange was too cheshire for me and I like the solid seats. I actually almost went with the red for the Christmas combo (or watermelon, if you like) because it's so unique and with window tint it doesn't matter. My original build was actually Aventurine Red over the Fjord Blue (reverse superman or spiderman), but I had just had Sunset Orange for my M2 and wanted a total change of exterior shade. I really like the Fjord, but I think it would get old fast and it would certainly be a harder resale and I get bored after about 2 years.

I went Kyalami because I like the two-tone and contrast. Also last few cars have been black black and wanted something exciting. Liked idea of green on brown but tartufo felt maybe too mature for me at the moment. Also debated Silverstone.

I like Silverstone and really like Ivory (I wanted the more mature look), but having had Oyster in the past, I didn't want to deal with potential scuffs/constant cleaning. That's accounting for my OCD!

This was my exact reasoning too . I do love Tartufo but it was a little too much brown for me (especially full leather). Would have loved to see the black alcantara sides on these

Both excellent choices to be honest. Tartufo for that elegant/sporty look . Kyalami with the aggressive & sexy

See, that’s interesting, because I decided against the full leather because there wasn’t enough extra color for it to make sense to me. I didn’t see the point in paying for extra leather that was mostly black. Not that I ever would because I’m too OCD, but you could pass off the sensatec dash as leather to most.

But it’s not mostly black with full leather. You get the door cards + lower dash in KO as well. Maybe from the outside the upper sensatec might look like the real deal holyfield.

But step inside and the full leather dash w/ stiching definitley adds a premium in looks, feel , & heavenly leather smell.

I used to feel the same way when I had my F82 with extended. But after experiencing the glory that is full leather , I find it real hard to go back.

Thanks! ADV.1 5.0 flowspec super deeps all around. 20x9.5 and 20x11 satin black. Here’s another pic to see how deep the front/rears are.

Yea but my door cards are tartufo, so just below dash wasn’t enough for me.
