Good eye. Still love cruising in that old girl. Not the fastest car on the road, but always entertaining.

I didn’t actually take this pic. Someone on IG sent it to me from an event. I love how dynamic IOMG is; it can go from sparkling in the sun to a cool glow at night.

For IOMG specifically, what are people’s thoughts on bi-color 825M vs bi-color 826M?

To me:

825M are brighter and therefore complement IOMG very well. They appear wider due to concave design, and feel more classic/elegant due to the finish and subtle five design

826M are darker and feel more race-oriented, aggressive and identifiably M. They appear “larger” circumference due to thin spoke design, and I’ve read they are lighter

826M seem to be more popular overall across all builds judging by the pictures I’ve seen on this forum, but to me, 825M better suits my taste (particularly on IOMG).

Curious what others think?

I agree on the 825M bi-colors. The I haven't seen any thing that goes better, including aftermarket with IOMG. That's why I have them on my IOMG M4.

Just decide which way you want to go. Classy or Sporty, really can't go wrong with either. Me I'm on the sportier side and went 826's then on to 1000M's. BMW wheels look better than most aftermarket I've seen.

Classy look go with the 825's
Sporty look go with 826's

Thank you. Car is due May/June, I am going 825M. Eyeing 1000M for next summer and 829M for this winter. Always interested in people’s thoughts on the wheel styles though!

Talking

Welcome Fiona (Shrek’s Fiona), my IOMG M3.

Took delivery a week or so ago and in between getting ceramic and PPF took her out for a spin with a local auto club. Some great professional photos were taken - see below!

Posted a separate thread with the build and future plans. Only highlights worth mentioning is port installed M Performance Height Adjustable Springs and the 825M wheels that came on it are not pictured, these are dealer ordered 829M winters.
