Just got ship info for anyone interested.

Supposed to be arriving in GA on the 13th and then processed to dealer. The ship does stop in Baltimore prior so anyone local to there might be in luck. For reference my car went into "In transit" around the 16th, but the ship didn't leave until the 23rd.

Hope this helps all the impatient people out there .

Mine took just about a week from arrival in Brunswick to be released to the dealer. Although they can't release it to me until the 13th. BMW is starting to be pretty firm about that, apparently.

Not sure what the availability is like in your area, but I STRONGLY suggest you see the color for yourself in person, whether it's on a regular 3 series or any other BMW model.

Dravit Grey truly is a dynamic color and appears drastically different on almost any photo you see of it (amateur or professional photography) due to the various bits of gold scattered through the dark gray paint. With that said, I'll get my photographer friend to get some good pics of my car in overcast, sunny, and nighttime light settings. Hope this helps give you more perspective on the choice!

M4 in Dravit Grey arrived at the dealer last Friday (2.26). They originally told me I couldn't take delivery until 3/16. Just got a call from the salesman that it's moved up to 3/13. Will have it by noon that day.

Good to know. Mine is supposed to be priority one, so hopefully it's processed and sent to dealer quickly. I'm guessing week of the 15th for delivery to me.

Scheduled delivery for Saturday. Car is at the dealer and I went and saw it today. The IOMG is really amazing in person - much darker than it looks in pictures, so glad I opted for the extra weight and the sunroof rather than carbon fiber (had carbon fiber on my F80 and really liked it with the white color, but the green would become too dark with that much carbon fiber). The front grill is also much less dominant in person. Love the exhaust notes in the different settings. I didn't get to drive it (BMW is really limiting drives right now so surprised some dealers are letting folks drive them), so can't give much on the drive feel.

At least you won't have to wait on it while it is sitting at VPC.... I watched mine sit for 6 Weeks!

That's crazy! I'm surprised they didn't just hold it at the dealer for you until the official release date. Usually VPC processing is about 2-5 days from what I've read
