M3 Lego Mosaic Gift

I got a pretty neat gift yesterday. My wife took a photo of my Brooklyn Grey M3 Comp and put it in a pixelation tool and then created a Lego mosaic from it.

That's really cool! Do you happen to know what she used?

She used Lego Bricklink Studio. She said my design has almost 5500 pieces.

I want to get one of my car, yeah she is. I have a lot of Lego sets, you're never too old for them.

I've got a bunch too. My wife gives me a hard time about getting a new set every couple of months. I just finished building the Titanic set the other day.

How's that Home Alone set? Looks like a fun build but not sure if I'd display it for very long.

Definitely picking up the BMW M 1000 RR motorcycle on Jan 1st.

It's great actually, the attention to detail for this one is top notch. I have some others I need to build as well. I've been trying to locate the Titanic set which I'd enjoy displaying over the fireplace in my game room. You're never too old for games and toys. I have a whole wall of them upstairs outside my office alongside other places.

I still have the titanic and the world map just sitting on the floor in my office currently. Haven't found a good spot for them just yet.

Both are beautiful! I've been trying to find a Titanic in stock, spoke to my local Lego store and they told me January they will get consistent stock. I have maybe a dozen sets right now give or take, most are nostalgic things as you can see. I have the SNES, N64 "?" Cube, Home Alone (if you want more pictures of the details I can send you a DM with them), Friends Apartments, Friends Cafe, Big Bang Theory, Stranger Things etc. I'm going to pick up the Type Writer, Titanic and some others soon once they become available. The local Lego store knows me very well since I've bought a lot of nice sets from them.

I'm still setting up my house slowly, and this area has changed a bit since I took this picture, but I have a few things on those shelves. I actually have a bit more to put up still.

As you can see, I have a 'few' Android figures, I actually commissioned about 10 from a local artist in Arizona, Dwayne Morris, who designed them with Andrew Bell for Google.

I'm jealous of the shelf space! I need to get something a bit more formal for displaying all my sets. I've got a bunch in boxes in the garage since I've mostly had to rotate what I have displayed at any one time. Right now have the titanic, world map, the colosseum, Lamborghini Sian, and Ecto-1.

I need to pick up the car sets, I just moved into this house a few months ago, still setting things up. One thing I have a plethora of is shelf space so I am trying to fill it up. My office has a lot of counter space, cabinets, but not so much for displaying hence why I use others to display the fun stuff.

On a random note I made a mosaic of my car using the Lego design tool but since mines green the colors are unavailable for a good portion so I'm going to wait and see if I can get them later

I haven't had the chance to put mine up on the site to see how the mosaic would look. I might have some issues with the color availability as well.

That's awesome. I need to do this with mine. Love Legos.

I might take some other pictures to see what Looks the best. I was thinking about ~7-8000 pieces for the mosaic
