I've heard all sorts of interesting things from BMW sales reps. One salesman told me that I could not put aftermarket wheels on an M3. When I inquired why, he said that one of his customers did so and it caused his brake rotors to overheat and warp.

I also had another salesman tell me that BMW does not make M cars with xDrive. Mind you, this was in the summer of 2023. I had to point out that they had several M cars with xDrive on their own showroom floor, including an M3C and an X5M.

I asked a salesman about the Tartufo leather and individual BRG once at a dealership. He did not know this color combo was possible.......had another guy tell me that an M2 he had in stock was not $77,000 after I had just looked up the price online. He checked and in fact said the price was $77,000.....SMH
