Sorry! I can’t imagine the frustration, I’d probably become a nightmare client lol.

Reminds me of when I ordered my 08 E92. The ship right before mine listed at sea and destroyed a lot of the M3s on board. This time, all I was praying for is a safe voyage haha. I felt terrible for those guys on that boat

Mine just arrived in Halifax. Honestly moving faster than I thought, was expecting it around Memorial Day. No complaints though

Yeah, it's all about timing. Remember, when the vehicles are dispatched from the factory, they're in line with all the other BMWs being produced, so it's all about timing and a little luck to get on a boat as fast as possible.

Your ship must have hit a straight shot. You left after us and the Tijuca doesnt arrive until the 27th to Halifax. Pretty funny how ordering a car will make you a quasi logistics expert

Yeah, it's all about timing. Remember, when the vehicles are dispatched from the factory, they're in line with all the other BMWs being produced, so it's all about timing and a little luck to get on a boat as fast as possible.

You should see if your SA can email the port. Mine did and then my car ended up on the Hamburg Highway. Supposedly Galveston has a long list of cars that have been stuck at the port for a while. (Week 11 build for reference)

I'm a wildcard since I'm doing PCD.

Because of this, the status goes to "Priority 9" to trigger a re-route. To make things more complex, it looks like multiple ports are being used for PCD. I've seen a lot of Charleston, but now I'm also seeing Baltimore.


I will email back next week to see if my car is getting on the Donington.

Exactly...

I guess it's safe to say they're just leveraging the space they have. I'm assuming that spreading them out like that ensures they trickle in rather than all showing up at once, thus overloading the PCD delivery team.

The port is the NY/NJ port in Port Bayonne, NJ. Most carrier manifests list it as the New York Port.

Nope, I am on Wild Rose Leader. What is more frustrating is that the schedule I downloaded last week had it arriving on May 31 and today's schedule is June 5. Looks like the Donnington is arriving at Bremerhaven early and will be there the next couple of hours. This is one of the vessels leaving on May 4th not sure if this changes anything but it is there two days earlier than expected.

Wild Rose Leader left its second port 2 days early, but then was anchored for almost 4 days waiting for a pier at Emden.

But boy, see the sheer amount of cars there: google map. Scroll up and see all the cars. I was amazed!
