At 1200 mile break in for M3, dealer can't get me in until mid October
Hello all! I recently purchased a 2024 BMW M3 competition, and it is currently just under its 1200 mile break-in service. I reached out to the dealership and they had advised that the next appointment wouldn’t be open until mid October next month… I reached out to my sales rep and he told me that he would try to have the service department contact me with an earlier date… But so far nothing, I have no choice but to not drive the car for the time being. Is it bad if it just sits for a few weeks before the service is done? Or does anyone have any suggestions on how to deal with the dealership? The next closest dealership to me is over 300 miles away, and I cannot drive it there.

Ask your salesman. I hit 1320 and next availability was a whole month later. I called him and he got me for next day.
