Gorgeous build! I was at p-tech when you were trying to get your exhaust installed and took a peak inside. I have to say that your setup is quite a bit cooler than my grandmother's minivan with hand controls.

Just out of curiosity, does BMW do hand controls for a clutch if you were to go 6MT? I remember seeing the E92 video, and the workload on your hands is already pretty intense, so I'm guessing, no?

But how do the hand controls work?
I mean how can you use gas pedal and brake pedal while also needing your hands for steering wheel?

Thanks bro haha! Unfortunately they don’t offer something like that for a clutch. I imagine it would be pretty difficult to manage the clutch with the hand controls on top of the braking and accelerating. If this was possible and practical though I would buy another E46 M3 in a second.

That’s why I got it. Not too aggressive, none of the sharp lines like you see on most of the lips on offer. And not to mention the split weave in the middle to match the weave pattern on both sides of the car.

Someone already posted a video I made displaying how it works but I simply brake by pushing forward and accelerate by pushing down. Right hand is always on the steering wheel and I can use the thumb and index finger on my left hand to also steer while using the hand controls with the rest of my left hand. 👍🏽
