Setting Departure Time Using Display Key

Has any one had issues setting the departure time on the display key?

The issue I've had is that when I touch the screen to enter the departure time (see the attached pic), it often simply doesn't react, and I don't think the screen itself is the problem because everything else works and I can scroll up and down that particular section.

But when I'm sitting in the car or am near it, the feature works just fine.

Anyone have any idea what could be the issue?

Of course, I know I could set the departure time using the app as well, but I'd prefer being able to do it with the key.

You might be the only one to have bought the display key. I'm doing the opposite, ditching the key altogether and just using my phone.

Sorry, can't help

I really like the way the display key feels in my hand, plus I don't recall it being expensive.

Sorry I don't know the answer to your question but am genuinely interested in the display key.
Would you mind sharing your experience with it?

I prefer the display key over the regular key mostly because of how it feels and looks, but also because of the few functionalities it comes with, though I haven't used them that much in all honesty. The app offers the same functionalities (and more), so you don't really need the display key.

But it only cost CHF 440, which equates to about USD 475. Plus, the BMW card for opening and closing the car isn't available here in Switzerland as far as I know.

Hope that helps.
