To me, the new lights are a lateral move, but the new turn signals look like an improvement. I always thought it looked a little weird how the current models flash only 1 of the 2 rings in the turn signal, and the rest turns off and back on.

Does anyone think these headlights will come with just one projector on each side? Looking at this and other pictures, I just can't see the second dot/projector on any of the spy shots...

Looks like it’s only one projector which is a total downgrade. Most folks don’t realize this just yet. It’s like the 2 series with one projector 😬

2 Series headlights are shaped in a way where single projector doesn't look out of place. Removal of second projector on G82 would create strangely empty and incomplete space where it should have been.
I hope this is just a decoy and result of the camo on the spy shots, and that these cars will get modern yet attractive headlights.

I was ready to place an order as soon as LCI becomes available, but I am concerned these changes will completely destroy the car for me.
While I can still place an order for pre-LCI, I'm also afraid of potential regrets if LCI turns out to be as good or better looking. Can't win.

#312 is just a photoshop, not solid evidence.

Admittedly, all spy shots seems to show the single beam only. But when I go back to spy shots from previous releases (i.e before G8x was released), quite often the camo of headlights did a very good job and didn't look anything like the final product.

Alternatively, I am hoping this is just a base spec headlight, and there will be an upgrade option available, that restores the traditional double beam/projectors and provides attractively shaped coronas.

I was actually referring to the single headlight picture as attached here again. This is one of several detailed photos coming from the German Ebay site, where somebody offered it end of last year. This seemed to be the real thing. Nobody knows where the seller got it from.

Yes, I've seen these headlights, and they do look real enough.

But my hope is that there will be alternative choice/upgrade, just like it has been the case with many previous models. In such case I could believe this is the actual base/poverty spec headlight.

Is it me or is the only visible difference on the front end the headlights? Is there more to it that I cannot see? Perhaps another round development before unveiling? Trying to understand this new LCI, but keep scratching my head.

What are you looking for? LCI has pretty much always been minor tweaks. F8X was just mainly headlights and taillights, same with E9X.
