Hi folks!

I had a 2022 G80x that’s no longer. Have a 2024 currently slated for week 23. Trying to decide if I should keep 2024 order or switch to a 2025 LCI.

Good to see all G82 deliveries. Anyone here coming from a pre LCI and can comment on driving differences? I know it’s just 20hp, but that’s still something and wondering in steering or chassis programming was improved…

If you have a 2024 coming it won't matter. Unless you cancel and order a '25, it'll be the same as your 2022. And 20hp will definitely not be noticeable.

in case 'Cane's post didn't make it clear, 2024 is not the LCI. Some people got that confused because of the change in the dashboard, but the LCI is for 2025 model year. 2025 G82 deliveries just starting now, G80 deliveries don't switch over for a while.

So your 2024 will be same except for dashboard and iDrive 8. (oh and all the stuff they took out like illuminated vent knobs, ambient lighting in the door pockets, etc.)

The ‘25 will most likely see a price increase (the G82 did), but if you take the ‘24, it’ll depreciate as soon as you drive it home. Should know what the G80 LCI is in about two weeks.

All cars depreciate the minute you sign the paperwork and leave the dealership lot. 🤷🏻‍♂️

But when the MY25 cars are on the lot, the MY24 cars depreciate even further. Doesn’t matter when you bought it, it’s instantly a year old.
