What change does the CS transmission tune have for DSC that changes things? In otherwords - what changes over OEM?

May have been mentioned already but if I already have XHP trans flash can I just code in the CS Steering/MDM/Damping ?

Not sure what you mean by having the dampers done? The CS tuning offers remap for steering, DSC and transmission. I have all the above .

DME is still locked. This is a different component altogether.

F8x cars would be coded with CS damper settings, just assuming it's the same this time. kubax86 has done it for those guys.

It’s the same price with or without the trans tune so it would make sense to get all three and if you prefer the xhp tune just flash it back to your car.

Here's my review. Really really good!

I did the CS steering and gearbox tune. This car is finally where I wanted it to be when I thought up the idea to order the G80. Steering feel (w/ my Uniballs) is there. Transmission feel is BANG BANG! That poster earlier that said from 1st to 2nd to 3rd breaks traction was not exaggerating.

I got the tune from kubax86 yesterday morning and had the time to go for a spirited drive today. It is a night and day difference in S3 now from stock. Where the car never shuddered between shifts at all from the factory, it bangs the gears now with confirming authority. There is no delay and no lag going up. One might compare the upshifts to a 991.1 GT3 in PDK sport. A bit unrefined but quick and deliberate. It's not up to snuff of 991.2 or newer PDK's, but the feeling is undoubtedly the best you will get from the ZF8 and I like it. Downshifts are better, but still not PDK quick. I may even be motivated to get the CS transmission mount in the near future to hone that gear change even more.

I'd say that in S2, it feels as it did before the tune which is awkwardly slow now and delayed compared to driving with the tune. Overall, all upside with zero downside. I WILL NOT go back no matter what!

Get it if you want to add more driver's engagement. You won't be disappointed.
