Greetings,
I'm driving a BMW M4 2023 xDrive Comp delivered overseas in Korea.

It's a US Specced Car, and apparently BMWs Vehicle Processing Center
here in Korea either disabled the telematics control unit or just the GPS.

This issue came to light when I had bimmer remote install local Asia maps onto my car. The maps work fine but the GPS is off and I found the error code B7F89C which is related to the GPS Module. Also, there's another error code D1D873.

I want to reconnect the GPS to get it working. Where would I look? Is there a specific fuse location they may have pulled. Or do you think they disconnected it within the headliner?

Another option, maybe, can I connect up a third-party GPS antenna?


Another issue is wireless carplay navigation is not reliable. I have a feeling it's related to this as well.
