I have a 2023 6MT G80, and it was delivered last August from July 7, 2022 (edit) production build.
I have yet to see a software update through My BMW app. Any other G80 cars out there with iD8 in a similar situation?
I’ve seen plenty of posts about people having to update while driving? I’m just curious of the cars with iD8 receiving messages for firmware updates through the app.

What software version are you currently running?

Oops— typo for prod. year

7-7-22 is production date.
Software from the factory - assume it’s 7-22

Don’t assume. Go check. You may be on the latest OTA version already. Once you know what version is currently installed, you can see if anyone has a later version installed via OTA.
