Hi all,

My M3C is at the NJ port with the camera stop sale…been there since July 9th, I'm a build week 25. Like most of us I think, I'm buying stuff I want for the car, e.g. door projectors, floor mats etc….after reading all the forum threads you all post, it sounds like the Harmon Kardon system that comes with isn't very good. I'm a sort of audiophile, and want to look into at least replacing all speakers, adding an amp, but can't seem to find anywhere that states how many speakers, their location, and size, so I can start shopping.

Does anyone know this info or where I could find it? Thanks in advance, all!

It's really not *that* bad if fed a decent signal. Adjust the EQ and try some of the alternate B&W DSPs.

The system in the G80/G82 is the 688 Harmon Kardon system. Bavsound has an upgrade kit that addresses the speakers reasonably well.

Audiotec Fischer has a DSP/Amp combo with a harness, if you're in the US it'll be a few weeks before they arrive.

This fully integrates with the factory system, retaining everything and adding the capability to tune time alignment, and 31 bands of output EQ.

Amp/DSP Part numbers are:
- MATCH UP 10DSP
- MATCH PP-BMW 1.9RAM-HK
