PPF Quote!

I'm considering doing PPF, and made my first call for a quote. This is for Xpel on the front bumper, complete hood, front fenders, mirrors, and rocker panels. The quote was $5,000! Is that normal for not being the entire car? I would have thought that much would be the complete car and ceramic. Maybe I'm out of touch with this stuff. Curious what others have paid.

Shop around. You can do all that for between $2000-$2400

This is a great video regarding PPF. I understand location and quality will be key when getting a price from one place over another so definitely do some shopping. See some of their previous work.

I agree with Besharaf

Yeah, I called another shop I've used for tinted windows. They only do Llumar, though - which is fine. I'm ok with either Llumar or Xpel. Their quote was much more reasonable, around $2,800. Full PPF is $6,500 with them. I think they're the only Llumar installers in Maryland, though. I've heard about Kavaca PPF - I'll need to look into that.

Thanks for recommending the video. I can't imagine paying $8,000 for PPF - I completely understand why he paid that much, though. Considering the custom work that went into installing his PPF, it's definitely not ordinary.

Speed and tech motoring in Sterling. One of the only two places I take my cars to. They do it all.

Did you get any quotes on KAVACA PPF? If so, can you share that please? I am looking to get full wrap for my Frozen Black X5.

I didn't pursue a quote for Kavaca. I decided not to get PPF since I plan on keeping the car 3-4 years - until I can get a 2027.
