borusan turkish blue G80 build allocation

Just Ordered This borusan turkish blue g80 xdrive with full ivory interior. Was planning to build a Dravit grey but someone got to the build allocation before me. The dealer called and offered me this rare individual color and I took it. Usually I’m a neutral color guy so I’m nervous. What do you guys think compared to a dravit or something like that. I hope I made the right decision. I will be trading in my white f90 m5 for this car I’m super in love with the car but the lease is up. Any opinions on this color I can’t find any other cars this color seems to be super rare and coming from the f90 how will the g80 compare ?? Plan on doing a full stage 2. Thanks

Thanks man ! Any idea on how rare or unique this color is ?? I can’t find any cars this color online let alone a g80. The dealer said I could be the only one in the states with it. Idk how true that is.

You seem to be focused on how ‘rare’ the color is? You were going to get Dravit which isn’t ‘rare’. ?

Getting an Individual Color is great as you get to pick a color you love. Do you love this color or do you just want to say that no one else has picked it?

Wow. I thought I was going to be the first to order this! Have first allocation once the G80 flips to MY25. Here’s a YouTube video for you to get an idea. Where are you located? Would love to see it in person!

I like the color but I didn’t pick it. The dealer ordered it and I liked the spec so I put a deposit. Allocations have been near impossible to obtain where I live. So what I’m asking is what everyone thinks. Would most people desire this color over a standard color? And I’m also asking how rare it reallly is because I can’t find any other cars with this color besides the borusan racing team ? Just curious on why I can’t find it when you look up any other color you can find someone with it but not this one. So curious on why not ? Is it that rare ? Or hard to obtain ?

Thanks for the response! I’m located in San Diego ! Any info on this color? I can’t find a g80 or any non borusan race car in this color? The dealer told me I would be the first one in the states with it. Is that true?

If you don’t love it, can I have your allocation for it?

Jk. But that YouTube video makes the color look phenomenal.

Got it. I actually pulled my ‘24 allocation from there and decided to wait on the MY25. Thought they may have took my build sheet and offered it up to somebody. I also was going to go with ivory. From what I know it’s a new color that has been added/approved. I can’t find any car with it. Zero pictures at all aside from the GT cars.

I would pick any Individual Color over Dravit solely based on cost. Why spend about 2k for a color when for another 2.5k you can get something I pick and really want.

For me, paying 4.5k for a color and spending upwards of 100k on a car without seeing a color in person (maybe in pics) would be difficult. But with so many Individual Colors to choose from, it’s essentially impossible to see most of the newer or infrequently selected ones.

This is my logic for everything M.
Why spend 80,000 when I can spend 100,000?

But seriously if you have patience individual is the way to go. What boggles my mind is when someone’s individual order shows up and they change their mind. That’s an opp to get a great, unique color. Saw this recently with rosso corsa.

I’m going this route next time - just need to plan accordingly.

BMW lowered the price of Dravit on the MY‘25 cars to $1500, so it’s a $3000 difference to go with individual now.
