With Dahler you have either Open or Stock. So yes your interpretation is correct. Closed is back to stock mode. Open will just keep them open in all modes.

I just installed my valve controller. Everything seems to work, as long as I have the remote closer to the unit. If I close the door and try selecting it in a normal driving position, nothing happens. Gathering it is a signal issue. No tint on windows, as some other members were having interface issues.
At first i was thinking it might be a low battery in the remote so I programed the homelike and that signal isn't getting to it either.
Thinking of relocating to the battery well. Has anyone done this?
I would run cables through opening that leads from the empty black housing to battery area. Mount it securely and seal opening around cables.
I appreciate everyone's thoughts.

Program to work with the mirror buttons and let us know if its better. Some have reported that it works best with the mirror buttons.

Got it programed to mirror buttons but still would not work.
So I unhooked everything and started over by mounting in the battery well area. Ran cables through the plugged hole and ran as normal. Remote and mirror buttons work flawless.

I will be doing a Dinan mid and axelback for my 24 G82. Would I need the two or single valved Dahler controller?

Debating between Dinan and Dahler controller.

Go sst, it has oem/closed/50% open and fully open positions.

your exhaust uses 2 valves, you will need the 2 valves controller

2 valves. It has one on each side of exhaust.
