Dongsai or Ebay CF parts?

Hello!

New registered on this eminent forum. Have read a lot and learned even more.

I am in the process of ordering a lot of CF parts from Ebay or directly from Dongsai.

In the forum, there seem to be a lot of knowledgeable people looking for advice on how to proceed.

Here are the parts that I am interested in, some are dry carbon and others real japan carbon, I don't really know what the difference is.

If anyone has done the shopping themselves and has advice and tips to offer, these are welcome.

Kind regards, Morgan / Sweden

The parts from Ebay, Total of 2465 US Shipped to Sweden

I would avoid those mirror caps. I’ve read the abs ones do not fit well. Go with dry carbon ones if you do. In my past experience you get what you pay for in regards to cheaper carbon fiber parts. Oem will or mhc seems to be the best quality and fit from what I’ve read. Items that are fitting on the lower part of the car should be fine with cheaper brands though as people won’t notice that as much.

Hello!

Thanks for your reply, As far as I can see, both sellers have dry carbon on the rearview mirror cover.

Dongsai is almost twice as expensive as ebay, but I have also read that they should maintain very good quality.

Hoping for more good answers before ordering

Dongsai does get good reviews from the guys on here and I believe they probably supply a lot of parts to these third party vendors.

EBay has low quality/rejected carbon, go with dongsai.

Most of my Dongsai-sourced stuff is great, no issues.

The mirror caps, even Dongsai-sourced ones, do fit, but they cause a good amount of wind noise more than OEM/stock plastic ones. I'd avoid those.

Besides OEM carbon fiber mirrors, which is the best brand that is close to fit and finish of OEM?

I honestly haven't tried any other ones, so I wouldn't know.

I placed an order with Dongsai.

From what I could read, it was among the better copies on the market + that they promised delivery within 15 days of everything.

Another thing was that everything is manufactured in the same factory and the chances are that the structure and surface will be the same on all the different details.

I will update the thread when I have everything assembled!

The car is now with a company that mounts W3 coils from KW and 12 mm spacers all around.

The idea is then to mount PPF on all carbon fiber + lights and wrap the rest of the car in satin black.

The only thing I haven't decided yet is whether I should run on the original wheels or try to find tougher aftermarket rims.

I have had great success with dongsai. I cheaped out with an aliexpress v style lip and it was significantly cheaper than dongsai, but the fitment was terrible. The fitment was soo bad that there wasn't even holes drilled in the carbon fiber to attach it to the bumper. I actually received my second shipment from dongsai yesterday and the parts look great as usual. You should be happy with the parts they offer.

How did you order from them and what did shipping cost?

I got in touch with Jack chan on Instagram. He asked one of his colleagues to contact me.

Everything was resolved in about 2 hours with negotiation of prices. I received a link to Alibaba for payment.

600 Dollars cost shipping to Sweden
