Yeah it's a fair bit of money for what it is, but ultimately, they haven't got the failure rates the CG ones do (I'm yet to hear of a single one go funny). Hopefully they've sorted their quality issues and you'll be fine 👍🏻.

I cancelled the order. I don't need to put myself in a position where I am dealing with warranty claims. Been there done that!

They had one bad batch; all the warranty claims are from that shipment.

We have been offering this product for years; I don't recall getting a warranty claim until last month.

The issue has been fixed; it only affects the products sold from that bad batch.

I been using my VSC2 for couple weeks now, no issues.
I absolutely love how the car sounds w/ my ER Crossover pipe+Full AA Catback (non-res midpipe) and valves fully open.
I have mine setup as:
Default-auto/oem
ON-Fully open

That way on start up car is just like OEM so I can keep valves closed/open by choice on cold starts.

I have ApexBuilt GESI catted DP's being delivered this week I plan to have installed next week and I'm sure the insanity of the car with those will be even more sick.

I have the same setup (VSC-2) and looks like this setting wasn't included in the faulty batch.
Mine works perfectly fine so far.

The more I listen to the fully open flap, the more I'm noticing the deeper exhaust tone! Love the way it sounds!

Order most of my stuff through Mike @ XPH. Only took about maybe couple weeks to receive it.

If you’re expecting a night and day difference, you’re wasting your money. If the cold start wasn’t so obnoxious…I would just wire my valves open manually.

Sound is really subjective but I think it’s safe to say on a mild to wild scale of 1-10 this is between 4 and 5.

I disconnected my valves before actually doing the flap mod but reconnected because I sometimes want the quite interior. Even turning off exhaust button in comfort it bothered me some days. Glad I didn't cut my resonators.

That is odd. I was told it would be awhile at first also and ended up getting mine shipped out (comes direct from VSC) and was about 2 weeks of waiting I think.

So very unfortunate you’ve been waiting that long or anyone else.

That’s a perfect illustration of the subjective nature of sound.

Do you have active sound coded off? That was the first thing I did and the car is very quiet without it.

No, I didn't and I actually one of the few that doesn't mind it. My routine is when I first get up in the mornings, I don't want to hear until I fully wake up and I after I eat, I'm hitting sports plus...lol

Wow, I believe we placed our order on the same day and mine arrived in about 2 weeks.
Only thing different is the setting.
I wonder if there are any H/W differences, or settings that restrict them to manufacturing same settings in batches.
Nevertheless, it shouldn't take this long.
