$70,000 for a reworked sports car based on a Nissan/Renault product that came out over 20 years ago. Come on Nissan, do better. Using an inflation calculator, $38K in 2007 (Nismo 350Z) is worth about $53K in buying power today. That is a much more reasonable price for the Nismo Z and more in line with what you're buying. Which make sense as Nissan would still make a ton of money on the Z since it's basically recycled parts from other cars and the price point is more reasonable for consumers.
I have a feeling these $70K 350/370Zs will sit on dealer lots for a long time.

This car is a bigger disappointment than the Supra. I’m a Nissan fan and just can’t get with this new rendition of the Z car. I will take my 91 Turbo with a Jim Wolf tune/Blitz blow off valves and Greedy exhaust or my 2003 track 350z with the supercharger and Nismo exhaust.

There is nothing really disappointing about the new Supra... it's lighter and handles better than the old one... it's also on a far newer chassis and has the BMW B58 motor which for those don't know... has already been modified to run 8s in the 1/4 in the Supra... about 2 years after the car was released it's already running 8s... the fact that Toyota didn't make it does indeed suck but it has nothing to do with the new Supra being a bad car in its own right.

The Z on the other hand has almost 0 redeeming qualities... its on the old 20 year old chassis, isn't priced appropriate for what it is and isn't all that attractive nor fast... it's a fail upon fail unless you are an all out Z loyalist.

The new Nissan Z imo is the ugliest in recent generations. Not a fan, and absolutely correct about it’s dated chassis. Based on how much they reused, it should have come in at a lower price point. But heck everything is $$$ now.

It's hardtop only. That's disappointing to me. It has the wind problem if you drive w/windows down. There's another.

Your opinion. I was stoked when they announced it. Then when I saw the final product 😡. Very disappointed. Thought they were going to come out with something where people were like WOW. Kinda like the GTR for Nissan. Instead we got a BRZ/Z4 abortion. It has grown own me but I will never buy that car. The new Z, just brutal. Damn you Nissan. Hopefully the next GTR will be some sick ass Hybrid if it ever comes out

The "New" Z has been out since 2016 as a 2+2 called the Q60 , let's be honest
The A90 is a performance BARGAIN for the price and I think it's the best sports car BMW currently makes
Unless you like driving around 3900 lb land yatchs
