Hi all. New to the forum. I see the discussion for builds around week 17, but I will throw my status in as things seem to be moving quickly for some.

- Order date Feb 4 for an April allocation
- Production week bumped early to week 12 (March 18)
- Status 150 at the moment

Hopefully will go to 151 on March 12

It shows 3-4. They originally told me 3-5. But it seemed to start before that date and I definitely had a Vin a week before that date. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I try not to stress too much. My last car got damaged in transportation and was two months late. Not only that everyone kept me in the dark just saying it was late. Terrible experience. Much higher hopes this time.

Its possible the picture is wrong, but, to clear up any confusion, the mirror caps are only going to be black, if you:

1. ordered a competition, and didnt "delete shadowline"
2. ordered a manual, and "added shadowline."

Comp comes "with" Shadowline as "standard," and you have a free option to delete it, in which your mirror caps, and trunk thumbnail spoiler will be body color. Keep in mind, if you delete shadowline on the Comp, you also get Chrome exhaust tips.

On the manual, its the opposite. You "add shadowline" for free. This turns the mirror caps, spoiler, and exhaust tips, black, but the manual cars always get chrome badges on the rear trunk, and on the side front fender vents.

If you want those in black, you have to order the BMW Competition trunk badge from the parts counter, and swap the badge out, yourself. In which case you would just discard the "COMPETITION" part of the badge, that comes with it.
