PHX Meetup 4/2

Hi All -

I'm creating a new thread for our cruise next weekend.

When
4/2 (Saturday) @ 7:30am

Where
Meet at Fashion Square. Top Level of Parking Garage (above Crate & Barrell) The best way I can describe the location of this garage is it's above Crate & Barrell and the one you park in opposite Kona Grill. It's the one by the Valet stand.

Let's all try to be prompt so we can take pictures and cruise out by 8am. The drive to Payson is probably a little over an hour and we'll grab breakfast there.

Looking forward to the meet! I am still planning to meet @ Fashion Square but at the moment can't make the drive after for breakfast.

Same. I made an appointment for a wash last week, for this Friday, just in case this happened.

Ha, I just booked an appointment this morning to have someone come wash the car on Friday morning since I won't have the time otherwise.

No.

I'm still waiting for IND to even ship the intake out.

I have the exhaust on hand but waiting for some missing parts and also wanting to just get both items installed at the same time.

Damn it! I really wanted to see that bling. I totally get it... I have been waiting for DPs and CF bits for the exterior from r44 for almost two months. Such a PITA.

Damn it! I really wanted to see that bling. I totally get it... I have been waiting for DPs and CF bits for the exterior from r44 for almost two months. Such a PITA.

I was really hoping I'd have it all.

Hopefully our next get together after this one I'll have it all ready to go.

Not that I'm trying to preplan my eating far in advance, but did we sort out a breakfast spot?

So, 9a or so in Payson? I'll be meeting you there, once I know where there is. If we're doing a reservation somewhere I'll have two, perhaps three total including me.

What's the planned route home? If you all head over to 17 then south, I'd join you over to the interstate then head my way.

Sounds great!

Let's do Pinon Cafe since you guys were saying Beeline isn't great for large groups.

I will make a reservation tomorrow (hopefully they accept reservations)

I would say to meet us there at 9:30am to be on the conservative side....

I'd be open to taking the 17 home...I don't think it's that much farther than the 87 since it connects in Camp Verde.

I'll drop my cell phone here also in case anyone is a last second cancellation or running late so we don't leave without ya (PHX crew)

I looked it up. It adds a little more than an hour on a return trip to phx, but 260 is beautiful. I'll plan on heading home that way regardless, and if anyone wants to join, great.

Hmmm, I really want to go, but my little guy has a soccer game on Saturday. I'll try and come by the meeting place at Fashion Square though.

Also, just as an FYI, swinging over to the I-17 for the return trip adds a couple hours to the drive. I was on a drive with a different club a few years ago and a fire closed the Bee Line highway after we got up to Payson for a lunch. Made for a long day.

Ugh - I had my new windshield replaced today and have to wait 48 hours to wash so my car is going to be filthy tomorrow lol

Oh man, that sucks. I could have given you the guy I use. No tape needed on the windshield. Don't need to leave windows open at all. He uses some type of higher grade adhesive and only needs a few hours to set.

Also, he gets it tinted for $100 before installation.

Yeah? I'll take his info for the future if you don't mind. I'm already on my 3rd windshield and likely will incur another crack in the near future considering how fragile the glass is on these cars
