This looks nearly identical to my mst intake. Are there any differences or gains going with this ?

*Edit - I was not missing any of the rubber gaskets. It looks like there should be no gasket on the bottom of the heat shrouds. My bad!

Unless the filters are undersized the gains should be fairly similar.

In the video that NRP made, it seems the intake is a bit loose when it sits on the turbo Inlet. is that the case or did they just not have it snug all the way? Is there any play?

There should be very little play when sitting in the heat shields.

The rubber gasket should not go along the bottom portion and rubber should be placed in both circular cutouts for the piping.

I'll post a photo shortly with how the rubber should be placed around the shields.

For anyone doing the install, I think I photo documented the puzzle of various sized edge trim lol. Only other thing of note was that before tightening the driver side 'airbox' down to the body, I pushed it back and towards the driver side. Tightening it w this tension on it just gives the box a bit of clearance from the blue AC cap that's over there.

Would recommend!
Did you have any unused trim to use for the holes in the heat shroud that the piping goes through?

You just need enough for the pipe to lay on 4 inches so.

Not the heat shields, the intake themselves. The portion that fits onto the turbo inlets.

Gotcha! It wasn't fully seated yet. You can hear the clips locking in the 2nd clip.

In the video they made, the one you posted, at minute 2:51 - 2:54 is where they fully clip it in on the Turbo inlet, and then he pushes up and down and the intake moves a few mm up and down. Is there indeed that much slack?

The locking clip has a little play in it. This pipe has no boost pressure so as long as the o-ring is seated there is no issue.

What's the word on that photo showing how the rubber goes around the shields, and the fix for the flipped logo?
