Yeah PPF is $2500. Not sure if I should do the full car but that's the cost of the front. I've put the car in storage to prevent further issues. Next Wednesday I'm dropping it off. Should have it back by January.

99% of risk is taken care of by front PPF. Doing the full car is pure excess, at a very significant cost which to me isn't worth it.

Just got a call from my SA. The wheels on my car were recalled. New ones were shipped already. They could arrive even tomorrow. But my car will remain in port purgatory until the wheels are replaced.

Most M4s have been coming in with marks and defects on their wheels. Its all over the forums. It happened to a lot of us. Including me. Just look a couple pages back on this thread.

I called and bugged me dealer to look into why my car was stuck at the Oxnard vpc. Turns out it had a workout for tires, maybe they meant wheels. Well the good news is that it flipped to in transit today to the Bay Area.

My M3 was at the port on Nov 11 and they ordered the new tires on Nov 13. Work order was completed on dec 6. Hope that time line gives you an idea of your wait.
