Brake noise

Hey guys, wanted to see if anyone here has experienced any issues on their new G80 M3/M4 with extremely loud (grinding) noise from the front brakes?
So I have a G80 that's 2 mo old with only about 300mi; and in heavy traffic at low speeds the front brakes (I think it's the driver side) make a terribly loud grinding noise when you apply light pressure on the brakes…car has been at the dealer for 2 days but they cannot find any issues with the brakes and I'm guessing they'll tell me it's "normal" for the M performance brake pads…just wanted to see if anyone else had experienced anything like this yet?

These brakes need to be used hard, go make some rapid stops in a safe area from higher speeds and they should quiet down. Could also need to be bedded in.

Never when cold, only warm, about 20 or more minutes of driving...

"Ms, your car is a performance car, it will be a little noisy"

You have to clean the brakes. Iron remover and a power washer. 12,200 miles on my car, and my brakes rarely make noise. A lot of peoples do, but it's all about how you drive and keep them clean.

Brake dust is a MFer on these cars. I haven't had grinding, but if I am giving her the beans for a bit, she sounds like a city bus that needs service. The squeals are embarrassing. I probably will eventually swap the pads.

On mine, the horrible grinding noise finally went away after I took the advice of others on this board and did a dozen or so hard stops from 120mph over 3-4 days. I think to minimize the brake noise on this car (other than regularly cleaning the brake pads like the other member mentioned in a post above or switching to different brake pads like some have), is to use these brakes hard in everyday driving
