My timeline was similar to Zander’s.

Maybe BMW wants to fire out the verts before summer is all gone?

I dunno how this happened so quickly, considering everything I've been reading on this thread while lurking, but I figured I might be able to provide some useful information.

Here's my timeline:

* Vehicle Delivered
Did anyone else on the west coast make it onto the Orion Leader?
Incredible for you! What a timeline but this only adds to the frustration for people that have been at the port for months without getting a ship. I just can't wrap my head around how a car comes off the line a month after another and is shipped before it.

My thoughts exactly. My car was literally BUILT before that dude's order was received! Mine was built May 5 and went to awaiting carrier assignment May 6, where it sat at the factory, finished, no missing parts or anything, for six weeks and four days. And now he's already on a boat. It literally makes no sense. I mean, good for him, don't misunderstand, but it makes me mad at BMW and their logistics team.

So I called Genius again for fun. And even though I have been "at the port" since 5/9/22, my status in their system says "at the port of exit" as of 6/14/22. So even though I am going on 7 weeks being in status 193, my car has "only" been waiting in the shipyard (or final destination before being put on a vessel) for 10 days. I asked if that port is Zeebrugge or Bremerhaven and they have no clue. Only that my 5/9 status was "port of departure" and the new status is "port of exit"..

same here when I spoke. They said I'm now at Port of Exit. Problem is that this is still an unknown amount of time to get on a ship. Hoping for us both it wont be another 6 weeks.

I wish they could tell us for sure if we are at Bremerhaven or Zeebrugge so we can watch the correct ship schedules

Orion Leader for my M4. "At the port" for 13 days until it loaded and left. Obviously, schedule varies a lot on destination. I suspect others on the same boat where there before mine and waited longer, and maybe a few waited even less. No worries, they will all leave at some point.

I’ve been following your posts for sometime, you’re one of my favorites and a longtime sufferer and that earns points in my book. I’m a big believer in karma and justice and I got a hunch you’re on the next boat to the US. Just a hunch and they are rarely wrong, except for my first marriage!! Are you heading to the east coast?

I was “in transit” monday, back to “at the port” yesterday… my CA really has no visibility other than he’s “hopeful it will be getting on a ship any day now.”

Reached out to Genius via email and I’m awaiting a reply to see if they can give any more specificity with “port of departure” vs. “port of exit” etc.

Fwiw... I was at the "final" (real) port for 11 days before I got on a ship. Hopefully you'll catch one soon as well!

Thank you for the kind words and the laugh 😂. I hope I'm on the next boat as well and yes I am east coast bound (Brunswick Georgia port)

Just flipped to In Transit. Build week 22 (actual, scheduled 8, 19, 20, 21). ~12 days in At the Port.

West coast bound but sharing here to encourage everybody to keep up hope.

You and nal13 are damn close, you have to be. Arc Defender, Arc Independence and Don Carlos all leave Bremerhaven in June. Karma and hope are like herpes, damn hard to get rid of!!!

It's mind boggling, makes absolutely no sense. My car sat in some parking lot for a month then they decided to move it to the port. But other people got from the factory to the ship in less than half the time. Incredibly frustrating and the worst part is there isn't anything we can do about it.

It’s the lack of clear communication that makes you crazy! If they told you your car was coming a year from today you could live/work with that because you’d know what the heck is going on!! Hang in there!
