Stuck in QC purgatory official agony thread

I just entered QC today, I will keep yall updated on how quickly I get moved out. But overall looks like the builds that started this week are moving quickly. I went from production starting to QC in about 4 days

Most of the cars stuck are M4s. I don’t think there is much of a problem for most M3s.

Same, hit QC yesterday after a flurry of activity.

When do stop sales manifest themselves? Upon arrival to the US port of entry?

I feel for you guys.
I can't imagine your situation, I am fed up of this company so much, now waiting for the frecking transport of the last 500km through Spain.
Car stuck in some parking lot somewhere in Madrid for 3 days now.
These guys make me difficult to buy another car from this brand in the future.

Germany, 2 hour away from the prodction plant
Makes it even more funny...

And europeans are not able to track the status, have to ask my dealer all the time, which makes it even worse

Man if I live 2 hour away I would go over there and ask what's going on or perform some social engineering to find out what they are doing from the workers entering and exiting the plant.

My G80 has been in QC since 11/19. After a writing a somewhat angry email to BMW Genius I got a call from a rep yesterday saying he would reach out to his "contacts" to get an idea of what's going on and would get back to me in 3-5 days 😂

Nice spec. I had the same thing happen to me. Basically called me back yesterday saying “oh wait the factory is actually closed till Monday, I won’t hear anything till then, but it looks supply chain related”. They don’t have a flying clue

My rep's name was Lowman. Perhaps they have a canned response to give the impression they're actually doing something to try and placate restless customers.

Don't hate me, but my car was in QC for less than a day. Entered QC this morning and now awaiting carrier assignment.

Have been staying positive, and haven't vocalized any concerns with each delay or bothered my dealer or BMW genius for updates. But I'm honestly just disappointed at this point. From week 40 in time for my birthday to week 46 to now being in QC for over a month with week 47, 48, 49, 50, and now 1 cars in transit. I'm considering cancelling and ordering a hellcat. Smh, this has been the worst product ordering experience I've ever experienced.

Im on the same boat as you. I was looking at Shelbey GT 500 a few weeks ago. I bet you they wont hold you in QC hell. YOu well just wait away for production.

I also had a GT500 allocation offer for MSRP for delivery in April. Couldn't get past the interior though.

I’ve been looking at 2020 c63’s in the magno grey color but I can’t stand the speed difference between that and the Xdrive m4 it’s just too much of a difference for around the same price in the market rn. Otherwise I love the c63s also and think that car will be a classic with how things are going in the world.

Same here. It has everything I want minus that plain interior. It the same reason I wont buy a Tesla.
