Nice! Picking up speed.

Still in QC here. They must have run out of CID's.
I'm betting that you and a good bit of others that have recently had stops close get out of QC by the weekend. 🤞🏻

Am now Dispatched From The Factory after 2 days in Awaiting Carrier Assignment. There are at least 7 US-bound RORO ships scheduled to be in Bremerhaven between now and the end of the month. Fingers crossed we'll all be on one of them.

Exactly. The K-line Orion Highway departs Bremerhaven today and the Hawaiian Highway will depart on March 22nd. That's in addition to the 7 Wallenius Wilhelmsen vessels departing Bremerhaven this month. Gotta be on one of those.

Did your recall notices also flip to "closed?" I'm trying to figure out if I just entered another purgatory of "at port" since my recalls are still open.

Mine did the day after it left QC (3/5).

The weird thing is that I've never had any recalls show up - it's just been STUCK. Time will tell to see how quickly it clears the port in the US….

So I just received a call from my Genius case manager to tell me what I already knew. When I asked about any compensation he basically laughed and continued to blame the delay on supply chain issues. When I pointed out how these were more of BMW logistics issue, he rushed off the phone.

Worst car buying experience ever.

Based on members' posts it seems like the decision to honor previously locked in rates is up to the dealerships and not BMW. When I brought up the fact that I was going to lose my rate lock with the Genius case manager I spoke to she snapped back that they had no control over rates and to take it up with my "independently owned" dealership.

More than the dealers, I think it's BMW FS. When I asked my dealer they in turned asked Financial Svcs. before giving an answer.

Same here. I wonder if some dealers will request the old rate without passing it on.

My dealer said they asked BMW but were told they couldn't honor it past the expiration date so I guess it's probable that the dealer comes out of pocket to honor the old rates.

Another part of the world but I was advised by the Head of Technical Service, Customer Care and Warranty from BMW Group Poland today that if I'm unhappy with the order I can cancel it

I don't think I have ever experienced worse customer service

Some dealerships are decent, and some SUCK. Mine, unfortunately is the latter.

Mine has been very good to me so far so I can't fault them too much for not honoring the old rate. As frustrating as this situation is for us I'm trying to count myself lucky that I have a finished vehicle that's (hopefully) on the way.

This was on a lease, so maybe finance APR is different? It's definitely being honored by BMW as the dealer isn't absorbing a $3600 hit for me.

Late today I switched to Awaiting Carrier Assignment!

QC for 14 days ... Sales manager confirmed the QC hold was for the RAM recall. Oddly, it still shows open status for the RAM.

Are you sure the recall is closed? Mine moved to Awaiting Carrier Assignment a month ago, yet the RAM was still open.
