Adjusting Port Installed HAS

Will my dealer adjust the HAS at no cost?

Yeah, my selling dealer isn’t the same as my local dealer. I’ll check with them.

Why? Too low / too high? Did you get your car?

I think it’s sitting a bit too high. It just got to the dealer and may still have the shipping blocks. Plus it’s not settled yet.
What do you think?

I’d say check for shipping blocks if it hasn’t been checked in yet and let it settle if those have not been removed. I sort of thought the shipping blocks would be removed at the port when the has went on but maybe they get put back in.

Shipping block removal is part of delivery procedure, dealer should be doing it AFAIK.

Are you also unhappy with the ride height after port install? Too high/too low? What’s the issues with the “factory” setting?

Why don't you adjust it yourself? Pretty easy with the wrenches provided.

I read the rears are a bit more involved and any adjustment would require an alignment.

Any adjustment front or back likely require the alignment. Also, you should wait 2-4 weeks for the springs to settle before paying for an alignment. I find it entertaining when people pay the 200$ to align then in a month need it again.

Wouldn't this apply to the stock springs too? 2 months after manufacturer every car would need aligned. Or do they align the car based on knowing how much the springs settle? Which would imply the car coming off the line is misaligned until the springs do settle.

100%. Is it going to be 50% off, unlikely. But if you are hyper aware of the front end steering feeling, it's immediately noticeable. Just something to be aware of and prepare for.
