I am on a list to be able to order my AWD M3 when allocations become available.
Hoping to see some of you at a cars and coffee if local sometime later this year. We should also do some sort of M3 meet up for the Great Lakes area too. Im in WI just over the IL border. This all assuming pandemic is done or rolling off

Im in Milwaukee, I’ve got a 2018 M3 comp. I deposited on an awd M4 comp at Milwaukee North. Not sure if above poster means mke or chi but Cars and coffee in Milwaukee is every third Sunday of the month at McKinley marina. I haven’t been in a while but will likely be there next time. Is the car in your pic tanzanite? Great color, I’m going to spec my M4 in tanzanite with the black wheels and exec pack.

I am on the list at international for AWD. I'm going to ask for an individual color for my order so I may get it too late for this years cars and coffee meet ups but who knows. The M550 lease I'm in currently is tanzanite. It's a good color but I really want something a bit "louder". Still deciding but pretty sure will go Voodoo blue. If approved for individual (I heard bmw needs to approve your request) I'm also going to try to work in PCD as well if my work schedule allows. This will be my first M ever.

For me the M3 love goes a bit deeper. The M3 for me is and always has been on my bucket list. When I was 12 my family lost everything. My mom as a single parent and I were evicted and lived out of our Ford fairmont for almost two years until someone took us in. I remember seeing my first M3 and when we got a place to sleep that wasn't a car I got a poster (really just a full page spread ad from a car magazine) of an M3. I vowed that i would work hard and one day I would "make it" and I would buy my M3. This is my year. I finally got here. I'm married, no kids house almost paid off and zero debit other than my M550 lease and mortgage. This is the year I get my M3.

Sounds like you’ve had your share of tough times in the past but it’s great that you’ve let it motivate you. My first M was a 2015 yas marina M4. I was so excited the first few days I went out to the garage every 30 minutes just to look at it. This generation looks to be a really special car and your hard work and perseverance should be rewarded. Happy for you.

I've been on the fence on the G80/2 and was also curious which dealer was the better one in the Milwaukee area. I purchased my current M4 in the northern Chicago area. Good to know about the Cars & Coffee meetups! |

[QUOTE=kyleb350;27543165]Yep, Tanzanite. Yas Marina was a bit too loud for me, and I thought it was the best color without going full blown individual.

Good to know about the Cars & Coffee meetups! I’ve only dealt with Milwaukee north as it’s closer to where I live. My experience has been good , this will be the third car I’ve leased from them . |

I also started an Individual color order thread to see what everyone on the forums was ordering. My Voodoo blue color was the reason it was pushed back from week 27 to week 35.

Not sure your question about the production number. As far as build week that’s what the sales manager told me when he entered my order. He knows the ordering process and system very well but I can’t say that build week 35 is confirmed . I’ll call genius .

I am planning on doing PCD and depending on how the weather is on the drive back up I may need to buy All seasons to have PCD put them on then ship the perf tires back. I want to get some nice rims for summer and stock for winter but I may need to take a year and use all season performance. This will be my daily driver and while they are not as good as winters or dedicated summers they can buy me some time to invest in the nicer summer Rims

Mine was dispatched from factory and now has two stop sales.
Be prepared. You may have a finished car but they won't deliver until the two stop sales are fixed. In my case it's backup camera and audio module. No eta to get parts. I'm guessing with global parts shortage it's at least a couple of months.
