Better. do you need the center grill slat? I think I like the white across the center without that little slat in the middle.

Yeah, I tend to agree. I started playing with the front 5 months ago. What IND is doing was similar to what I had posted in some quick PS mockups then. This one with mesh on the bottom vs. slats. Unlike my clunky work, it's all about a nice transition in the middle. Be interesting to see what they come up with, and, if in the end, it becomes a easily swappable piece for those that lease.

This is the best I've seen & a big improvement from relatively little work.
Sure beats the complete bumper replacement others are doing.
Best of all anyone can do it & it still looks oem.
A Simple solution is always the best solution. Nice work IND.

Out of curiosity I wonder what it would look like with the grille completely color matched.

Kudos to IND for trying to evolve a polarizing design.

A+ for effort but what's done is done. The lines on the car are strange and the center of the grill being black hides the strange lines and shapes the best. Without a bumper redesign I don't think the look can really be "fixed"

Once I saw the G80 in person all the grill hate I had left my body.

In my opinion the car looks very modern. The new look has really aged the previous generations.

maybe I am a wierdo but I actually liked version 1 with the floating black slat, not as much as the stock look but I thought it was interesting

So you spend $$$$$$$ on this car and then need to spend more money to make it less ugly.

While I prefer the grille as it is, do you guys have any plans on offering painted side skirts/front splitters/etc. for those that don't like the OEM black color? .....I'm assuming with some sort of core exchange....?!?

Nice work IND! I've been thinking about getting the middle section of the grille wrapped instead of painted and was wondering what it would look like. This gives me some great ideas. Appreciate the effort!

Now, when can we expect the reflector deletes

Any chance of restoring back to "vertical slats", for a true BMW look?
