Mud flaps installed. Only Rear for now

I noticed that the G80 rear arch wide body does not really cut it for the protection. As the rear tires come out a few inches and throw debris on to the paint. For my Alpine White this is hideous.

I found the carbon mud flaps on a UK website with reasonable pricing. Took almost two months to receive the set(back order ofc). Only to find out the front mounting rivets missing in the package. Will have to wait for them before I take the stock ones out because I don't know if they will survive the removing process.

Not the best fitment I must say but for the price paid it gets the job done neatly.

wouldn't it have been easier to just PPF those areas?

Good point! I was quoted 7500 for full ppf and 2500 for the front and rear ppf. I have not yet decided what color or finish I would want. Mud flaps helps keeping the splash zone clean for longer than ppf does. I am not washing the car every week so to speak

Love the carbon fiber look, but I wished the flaps would transition smoothly rather than jutting out at the top. Tommy L Garage on YouTube sells those. Below is a pic of how they look.

Yeah I thought about Tommy's too. I just prefer the carbon here. If only they have the 3d fitment. Wouldn't mind paying a few more bucks

Why would you put mudflaps on a M3/M4 looks odd.

You don’t NEED mud flaps nor PPF. Each one is just a method of protection and trying to reduce chances of debris chipping the paint. You could add the mud flaps as one more sacrificial layer. All up to you.

Protects the paint on the side of the car, especially with them thick tires and if you put on spacers.

On the fronts did you use a screw on the bottom or only the rivets? I have these and just installed the front but only used the rivets. They flap a little bit if u mess with them. Dont know if they are supposed to be more stable

You can really hear the debris hitting the flaps all the time, so I'm glad they are on there. Also keeps it cleaner in the rain, its not tossing water all over it.
