Tire Pressure Sensors stopped working suddenly
I installed new tires on my 2023 M4 Comp xDrive over a month ago and the tire center reused the OEM TPMS sensors. Everything was working perfectly until a few days ago when the tire pressure indicators on the car suddenly stopped showing any readings.
Neither the temperatures nor the pressures are displayed on any of the tire pressure menus/displays on the instrument cluster or the center display. I took the car into the dealership and they're claiming that the tire center may have damaged the sensors during install, but I don't buy that explanation because they were working fine for well over a few weeks after the install. Not to mention all four sensors stopped reporting readings at the same time with no warning. Dealership also said they checked the TPMS module itself and it checked out. Wanted to see if anyone has seen this issue before and how I can potentially fix/troubleshoot it before I end up trying to replace the sensors? I also have Bimmercode if there's anything I can do there to troubleshoot the problem. Last edited by -AV8TR-; 04-27-2024 at 09:59 AM.. |

Did you try actually doing a recalibration? If you go into the tire settings and actually click "save tire settings" it should start a recalibration.

Yes I did that multiple times with the correct tire settings. The calibration says that it completed successfully but the tire sensor readings remain blank.

I wonder if disconnecting the battery would rest it?
