Sunroof screen gremlin

I opened the sunroof screen the day I took delivery and it's been open since. When I got in the car this morning it was closed and the button isn't opening it. WTF? Not sure if related but my mirrors were also folded in for some reason. I do not have fold mirrors when locking checked in settings. I know they didn't fold when I locked it last night. Any thoughts?

How old is the car? Weird things start to happen when the battery is at the end of its life.

Does the sunroof button work at all?

The "extra" closing might have been triggered with the remote by inadvertently holding the lock button (it's a wild guess, I don't know how exactly it works on that car). To open the sunshade (with the sunroof though!) try this (press and hold the remote unlock button), perhaps:

No, it doesn't work at all. I'll give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestions.
