Most of the new M cars (M4/5/8) are actually faster than the GTR's, but when you consider that the new M4 on paper has less power with similar, or higher weight, than I consider this M4 win to be very impressive!

And pointing out that the GTR is 10 years old, would be the same as bashing almost every super car out there for being slower than the Porsche 918 Spyder which is by your standards also "10 year old dinosaur". Power to weight ratio does matter

No one bashes the P cars. This forum trolls the GTR all the time. Lol. So again, I was disappointed with the new M3/4 which we are talking about. It should have been faster from factory in my opinion. They came out with the same basic car that Nissan came out with in 2009. 6 cylinder/ turbo/AWD in the 4000lbs range. It being faster by a smidge is not anything to brag about

When the GTR launched, it was a WOW car. Killing everything on the road. Other brands were playing catch up. Maybe someday, BMW can once again give us something like that. I highly doubt it. If the R-36 ever comes out, I’m sure it will be something pretty sick. We shall see I guess. The GTR I get to drive has a great power to weight ration at 1300
Wheel. It makes up for being a fat pig pretty well. Lol

The GTR sounds so much better from outside than the S58.. At least in the cabin the fake pumped sound is a little bit better.

All I can think of is trumpet noises from the GTR. Not saying the S58 is any better but they're both pretty terrible, lol.

Nothing like A GT-R. Took BMW long enough to catch up but at the end of it all, they still can’t beat Godzilla once he transform. The GT-R is Legendary for a reason and it earned the respect & reputation by handing out a can of ass whooping.

The interior on a gtr vs a new m car are pretty different. GTR is and will always be a rocket. Also just cost for cost, 90k in 2012 dollars in quite a bit different than 90k in 2023 dollars.
