Seems pretty good. Make sure you ask for an itemized out the door price. Then see what fees they add. Doc fee is almost a given. How about vehicle inventory tax? Other BS fees? Those may make a dent in the $3k off MSRP. It might end up being $1,500 off MSRP when you add their fees in.

Also ask if financing with them is a requirement.

Fees already negotiated. This is a true reduction of $3K. Paying cash.

I think $3k off is a pretty good deal, but gotta ask yourself if you can live without some of the options you wanted initially.

Spending this much on a car...I want everything I want on it.

Great advice and some I’ve given others time and time again. At the end of the day if I was ordering I’d include ventilated seats and the driving assistance package. In the grand scheme of things I don’t think either matters relative to the overall M4 comp driving experience. I’m so incredibly tempted.

$3000 is such a small percentage of the overall cost of a car like this that id rather spend a bit more and get the exact spec I want. MSRP really isn’t that hard to come by. It’s just the wait….

Just curious - what dealer is offering this? I can't seem to get any dealer in socal go below MSRP

Really appreciate all the feedback. I have until Sunday to decide and am currently in a 2022 M4 Comp XDrive convertible as a longer term test drive. Speed is intoxicating and loving the tech.

Any other input?

I did the same with my e92, no options but DCT. I still own it! It is good to have the parking package, I consider that a must. With end of month coming I would give it a shot to ask for more discount. Maybe offer financing it since they will make money off that and pay off the loan right away….

If you have any doubts, order instead. I believe that the market will turn soon and discounts will be back, but not like before.

To close the loop I pulled the trigger. Dealer was BMW of Eugene.

I have been shopping and was offered 8% off an M4 Vert without negotation. I think 10% off a Vert is possible. An M4 coupe I think 5-7% off, but the M3's are mostly MSRP since there are significantly less.

2 M4 Vert's posted on WCC last night for 9% off, definitely possible. Wish the M3's would follow suit but like you said they are harder to come by.
