I was debating the same, to have the ability to cancel PCD ones the vehicles is in SC. I don't want my G82Cx seating in a lot for a month, expose to the elements, awaiting for PCD time. I was also wondering if BMW could get it on a transport truck from that location and sent it to my dealership.

On the other side, getting the vehicle from SC to your dealer might also be delayed as it wouldnt be your regular shipping route. It might be of a less hassle for everyone, if you decide early.

I think its best to not mess up things now since the car is already en-route to the performance center... waited this long so can wait a bit longer....just glad to get through production steps without any hiccups

Just leave it as is for now...with how things are, any changes you make, it might sit for longer than a month in transit....just wait for your slot at the performance center...

I'm still open to the PCD route. I guess I'll know some more next week ones the G82Cx gets offloaded from the Donington in Charleston, SC. I'm not adding anything to the car at the VPC, hopefully that plays into my advantage.

The G82Cx arrived at port on Saturday and after trying the entire weekend to access "My BMW Garage" unsuccessfully my CA this morning confirmed that the M was unloaded from the RORO over the weekend. Right now it show's it as in "Transit", perhaps is already on it's way west to Spartanburg, SC. for a PCD unveiled. Or perhaps it seats there until my turn.

Looks like my G82Cx has arrived at VPC in SC. Hopefully it doesn't seat there for too long. PCD is getting more real now.

It is real now, guys. PCD is set for 6/10. Finally taking delivery of my Velvet Blue G82Cx.

So performance center gave you a date more than a month out…i am probably going to cancel pcd and pick up at dealer, my car is arriving at charleston on 27th. Hopefully i can get it first/second week of june

They called you before your car event made it to the states? I thought they waited till your car was cleared at port before scheduling.

Original scheduled day was 6/7 but I had to pushed it until 6/10 because conflict with a business trip.
