Build Week 50 Discussion

I was told week 50 when my car was scheduled for production. Not sure if it changed after that.

It is highly unlikely you were week 50 then. Week 50 is the 2nd week of December, so if yours were completed by the 2nd week and somehow already on a vessel within a few days (since it takes a few days to get to the port) then it really couldn't have been week 50. You can call Genius or your CA to find out the exact date, but it's irrelevant now since you're closer to your car than anyone else that had their car completed/built around week 50.

Genius actually told me it takes anywhere between 1 week to 1 month to be assigned and abord a vessel, so most of us are gonna be stuck waiting for a while

I'm a week 50 for my m440cv and I'm still sitting at the factory awaiting carrier assignment....sailed through production but been waiting now for a week.
Guess it'llbe another week or two before i even get to the port .

My CA called me and let me know expected date to arrive at port is January 5th.

Just got off the phone with Genius, looks like I'm being told what others are - likely there will be minimal to no movement until the first week of January as ships aren't doing anything now because of the holidays.

Still hasn't/won't stop me from checking the online tracker often

I am seeing no more Wallenius Wilhelmsen departures to the east coast ports until Jan 2nd so that’s an indication. Last week I saw a couple ships that were scheduled to depart on Dec 30/31 but looks like those are now pushed to Jan 02.

Spoke to Genius and they said my car had been at the port since 12/20, and they don't expect it to have any movement until after the New Year holiday. Not yet scheduled for a carrier. Looks like the soonest Wallenius boat leaving to Hueneme is 1/4 and it's due 2/3.

This week my car reached Madrid (Spain's capital city).
Not arriving to my dealer up north of Spain until 5-10 january due to New Year holidays in between...

Absolute worst possible time, but I'm glad you got it! How are the winters in Spain? Hopefully you don't have to worry about snow and gets enjoy it right away

73ºF were hit today!
Not usual temps thought, we usually have 45-50ºF at this time of the year. Snow is very rare here, rain is very frequent though, that's why I chose xDrive.

Car is in transit as of this morning. Going to call Genius to figure out which ship. Been at the port since 12/20

Edit: Due at port January 26th, Genius said they couldn't disclose the boat name for some strange reason and told me to reach out to my CA.

I have a sneaky suspicion that we'll get our cars around the same time despite being significantly further away

Mine just flipped to In Transit as well this morning after being At The Port since around mid-December. I'm in Norcal, and I'll just assume I'm on the same boat as you. :-)

Just confirmed I am on the Atlas Leader. Genius is showing est arrival to be 1/26. I just reached out to my CA to have him check on stop sales once again.

Now time to track that ship!
