What's the location? Maybe high for some places, maybe not for others. For me in Canada, it's about half that price in Canadian $. But it's a cash deal at a business I send a lot of work to. Average in Canada, I'd imagine it's about 4500-5K Canadian. So your quote seems quite high to me.

Yeah location is going to be the biggest factor. I'm in the Silicon Valley and my PPF guy quoted me 7000$ for full PPF on my M4 CompX and thats actually considered pretty cheap for my area. Most other places are charging 12,000$ or more for full body. I'd say the price that you got quote is pretty good, but again i'm comparing it to the prices that i get in my area.

I have heard the same, buddy with a 911 said the only way to go is normal paint and a wrap to make it look Frozen.. He has a Black 911 PPF Matte that looks great after 4 years. But he was not sure on current cost or product improvements.. thanks for the feed back...

Got mine full ppf with XPEL fusion ceramic and I think total cost was $6K here in Alabama. Totally worth it in my opinion, makes it so much easier to wash and don't have to worry about the actual paint. Though you could save some money by doing the most exposed parts bumper, hood, fenders, rocker panels and a pillar.

Yes what you want is the 'stealth ppf' lots of brands do it now. It will make the car satin finish. Not quite matte, but satin. Much like my dravit grey m850 here, the vinyl blue wrapped R8, or my purple vinyl wrapped M3. All have stealth PPF on top.

Price sounds about right depending on which company they are using for PPF. I had my whole car prepped, one stage polish, whole car STEK DYNOmatte PPF on the alpine white parts and gloss PPF on all black/carbon fiber pieces. Also had the whole car/wheels ceramic coated to add protection. I had the windshield PPF’d and all windows/windshield tinted. I believe I paid around $6500 for everything.
Maintenance is very easy with stealth/satin PPF and much easier than if it was gloss. Just use a product such as gyeon Cure Matte. Any question feel free to contact me |
