Built week 41 -MY 24 G80 M3

Just got off the phone with Genius...I had a week 39 production week and was in status 112, but made a last minute change to xDrive. Confirmed I'm pushed to week 41, so joining the party.

New here and looking for any dealer that might have an allocation and how much is typical markup.

you might need to call around and find out which dealer has an allocation on hands...even there might be a waitlist, it is shorter than what it was a year ago...and for M3, custom order should be at msrp, M3 CS might have ADMs...

Allocations are hard to come by due to high demand for G80 M3.

Ask around or call Day Laborer he might have some around the country.
There are NO more Markups on the car. Selling at MSRP.

We are all in the same boat. Production wont start until Oct 8 .

Week 41 now!

What a mess. Submitted order and got allocation on August 24th. First, I was week 41, then week 46, then week 37(with 112 status) now I’m back to week 41. Idk what’s going on over at the facility lol. Last year when I got my 23 M3CX it was just one build week(43 week) but it took 2 months for delivery, but I was excited I got it before Christmas. And this year my 23 X3MC I got it in under 2 months from start to finish. I feel like this year things was moving faster but this last month or so has been so slow with lots of delays. First when I ordered my G80 they had the carbon exterior package shortage and then the m carbon bucket seats delaying builds, it’s a big mess. Let’s hope we see movement soon. I should’ve kept my cars lol but I’m trying to get this last build before the LCI.

112 means you have a confirmed week rather than just an order confirmation. 111 means BMW AG accepted your order, but haven't confirmed it in their schedule, the build week is still tentative at that point. Once the order is 112, that means BMW AG has slotted your car in for a build week at the factory. 150 means you have a confirmed slot for that actual week and an expected completion date (build date). 150 happens about a week and a half to 2 weeks before your scheduled build week. You'll also have a VIN generated for your build at that time.

lol I did that the last couple of times, this time, I’ll just let it be, I’m not in a rush anymore, I probably add more carbon fiber parts (port installs) since it won’t effect my production.

Wow! You must have gotten bumped up in the production if you were week 41! I am in week 37 and several of us don't even have vins yet. You must have gotten bumped to week 36! I'd call and confirm!

Congrats! (Fellow Alpine White and Fiona spec here as well.)

I bet you’re Week 37, but you could be Week 36 (this week.) Regardless, you’re going to see this going quick at the factory this week or next.
