Finally received an allocation last week. Called bmw genius today and he told me my build week is 44 (Oct 31th).

The build is frozen black exterior with carbon seats, seems this is the reason why the build week is so late.

Anyone know the ETA for this build week?

ETA regardless of week is anywhere from 3 weeks to 2+ months. Just depends on how long you sit at the port and how long the boat ride is to wherever you go. No way to know for sure.

Individual colors push back build weeks by 4-6 weeks usually, so week 44 from now seems about right for your build.

Dang man… frozen black is my dream color but I ended up getting an 9-11k quotes on full stealth… I’m too much of a chicken to do it….

That's ridiculously high. Stealth PPF should be around the same as any other PPF, see if you can find a more reputable one in your area.

Also found out I am build week 44 today. I got my allocation about the same time as you (July 31st) with standard color (skyscraper grey). Though I also optioned in Carbon buckets, and carbon exterior for the 6MT. I suspect the limiting factor for our build times is the bucket seats rather than the individual color.

Im apparently week 45, Comp Dravit Grey and Fiona buckets. At first was told week 41 then I guess it got pushed back. Got my allocation 8/21. This wait is going to kill me haha

Dravit is a priority individual color so that wouldn't add time. Buckets are almost certainly the reason for the pushed date.

I called BMWNA today and inquired about my build week and they told me my car is "scheduled" for week 44 production, crossing my fingers as I am still status 111 and have yet to move to 112. This is the first time I have ever ordered a brand new car and I am beyond excited. Hopefully it will remain in week 44 production for hopeful delivery before the end of the year

I placed my order and received an immediate allocation on 9/5 after calling around to a few different dealers in my state (Oregon)

What's up guys? Just logged in and saw that my car is queued for production. I was moved up from Build Week 48 to 44 with my production date scheduled for Halloween.

My build is pretty vanilla:

Brooklyn Grey over Tartufo
6MT
826M Wheels
Ventilated Seats
Red Brake Calipers

6MT, Toronto Red over full Tartufo, Exec and Parking pkg, 826M wheels, carbon fiber dash, Laserlights. Pretty loaded out for me, I'm intending for this to me my Dad-ride for many years to come. Replacing my F80 DCT which has been an awesome car just missing the manual!

destriero that sounds like an excellent build. Mine is BG over Tartufo with a 6 speed. I'm super pumped to be getting back into an M.

I, too, am counting on this being my Dadmobile for many years to come.

I called the Genius hotline today and they were saying that mine is scheduled to be finished on Halloween and that your status updating is predicated on who's actually updating it at the factory....some people are better than others at keeping you up to date on where your car is. So, I'm expecting mine to jump from "Production Begins" to "Final Assembly" pretty much overnight. I was also happy the Genius told me that the build date is, in fact, the date your car is scheduled to finish.

I'm currently logging in like 6 times a day (or more) in hopes they can see my logins and will update me lol

Well, I got pushed back a couple of days to a November 2nd production date from 10-31. However, my car went 151 this morning so we're finally moving.
