Just got a call that my g82 has been rescheduled for production in week 11. I was originally week 4 but i get id8 so that’s something good i guess…

Timeline

07.08.2022 Put a deposit of 15%
15.11.2022 (111) scheduled for production in week 4
25.01.2022 (102) no build week
10.02.2022 got a call that i must remove display key and wireless charging for my car to get in production…so that’s what i did.
23.02.2022 got scheduled and confirmed for week 11…really hope it stays like this

2/20/2023: Status 112 (Scheduled for Production)

Just had my production# yesterday but I got a call from CA today that they would be able to help me move up the schedule to week 11(guessing the guy in front of me got backed out)!

Umm...I thought 112 means scheduled for production, and 150 means production has actually started. It's not March 16th just yet. Maybe I'm misunderstanding the process.

Haha yeah it’s pretty weird…you get status 150 1/2 weeks before production week apparently

Yep, I just turned to status 150 and have a VIN but no actual prod date yet. The screenshot from my CA shows Conf. Prod. Week 11/03/2023 so I'm good.

The production date is the time the car is scheduled to COMPLETE production, not start it.

I’m at Week 10 and been at 150 since Tuesday (it’s Friday afternoon now). Scheduled to be completed March 10. So it should be 150-155 for about 2 weeks, and most status changes all occur on the 2nd week.

A member in this forum created a google chrome extension to check the status of the production and give you more ideas of when the car would be finish building. Check it out.

Nots sure this works for us folks in Canada. I know BMW Genius doesn't work. However a member did mention that if I use a VPN with a US IP address it should work. For now I'll just harass my CA to give me updates

I just jumped in, and put down a deposit today (March 3) for 112 code with a dealer who had one that was still able to be customized. They said its slated for production on 3/11. I can't wait. 5K Markup!

I called my local dealer February 4, got the allocation and production number the same day, car going to production week after next (11) and should be here end of may, early June. That is 4 months.

$500 under MSRP (G80)

I called a few in the Bay Area and they all said that their next one is 9-12 months out due to low allocations?
