Does anyone have a rough timeline of when to expect delivery at port from production date (hitting 150)? Mine would be Galveston.

Anywhere from 4-10 weeks once your vehicle hits the port. Once your vehicle goes through all the steps at the factory, then it will be dispatched from the factory (takes 2-3 days) by train to the port where it will await a boat.

What’s your build? Have you called customer service, the website might be lagging behind your actual status.

Ordered 1/3, VIN 2/2, been in 150 status for a week now, called Genius today, told build to be completed 2/18. Not showing any movement on the website tho.
M4compX, tanzanite II, Full tartufo, Moonroof, Usual packages.

Is the production date when production begins or finishes. I've heard both and can't seem to find a consensus.

Finishes. The build week is given as a general statement to confirm car coming off production line. The prod date is assigned with status 150 I believe to give a more specific date when the car will be finished

It’s not uncommon to be in 150 status for a couple weeks. “Production begins” is a bit misleading. 150 essentially means all the parts have been pulled and assigned for your vehicle and scheduled for a build day.

Once you hit 151 status it only takes 2-3 days to build your vehicle. My scheduled build completion day is 02/09. I didn’t move to 151 until 2/6.

My guess is you’ll move to 151 around Tuesday of next week.

Even Genius has mistakenly reported to me that production STARTS on the Production Date, which in my case is 2/15/23. I have been at 150 for about 10 days, and expect to go to 151 Thursday or Friday this week.

Of course I still obsessively check the status on MyBMW several times a day.

I wonder if there is a delay bc of the carbon seats.

But you should go 150 very, very soon if your car is to be built next week.

Are you checking the status on MyBMW or checking with Genius?

Maybe your dealer can help. Have they sent you a copy of the build sheet yet?

Checking on MyGarage, I got sent my build sheet the same day I got my production number.

Genius told me I was week 7 though.

Ya don't panic, I would check again tomorrow. Same thing happened to me and I was BW6, but prod date is now Monday 2/13.

Nice! What’s your scheduled completion date? I’m week 6 with a scheduled day for today. I went from paint booth to quality check yesterday and have been stuck there since.

It will prob be another 4-6 weeks before we see the cars in the states.
containers ships are a disaster these days.

I think i am going to have the port do the M suspension also.

Got ya! I went from Quality check all the way to dispatched from factory today. Hoping to catch the Donnington on Feb 18.
