Don't think I saw a thread for week 44 yet, figured I'd start one.

Order Status/Process:
01/25/22 - Deposit placed/put in order bank
07/26/22 - Dealer contacted/order placed
08/01/22 - Production number received with status 102 Special Order (no Production Week)
Update: 08/03/22 - Spoke to a BMW Genius, was told prod week is 43, Oct 24th build starts.
Update: 08/23/22 - Build week was pushed, now build week 44
Update: 09/06/22 - Order status updated 111
Update: 09/21/22 - Added Personal eSIM 5G
Update: 09/22/22 - Sales Manager contacted me about the MPP Chassis. He informed me currently this is unavailable for North America, but BMW is doing a test run for North America for the Chassis and this should be available for special port order in Nov/Dec. Once my vehicle is on the ship to contact the Sales Manager again to make sure they can add it to the order for port installation.
Update: 10/07/22 - Order status updated to 112
Update: 10/21/22 - Order status updated to 150
Update: 10/28/22 - Order status updated to 151
Update: 10/28/22 - Order status updated to 152

Was told week 38 as of two weeks ago, and moved to 112 last week...being my third time in 112 I won't hold my breath until I get to 150

Sweet!! Congratulations! Nice color choice. #SaveTheManuals if I wasn't buying this as my DD and didn't have kids, I'd of absolutely got a manual.

Nice to not be Mr. Lonely anymore lol, but sucks they pushed me a week.

I have been reading many posts in this forum to learn as much as I can before putting my order in, these one will be my 4th M3, what can I say. Thanks to everyone that posted info, pictures, opinions, and photos. It made my final choice easier.

Mine is a US Specs ordered from a BMW Dealer in southern Spain (BMW overseas sales). I will have it here in Spain for about 2 years before shipping it back home in the US.

08/16/22 - order in bank
08/22/22 - Dealer contacted/order placed after test driving a demo M4 with buckets and CCB.
08/26/22 - Production number received Prod week 44 with status 111.
08/29/22 - Conf. Prod week 48, (48/11/2022). Exp. Del. Wk. 51/12/2022
Production Plant 01 - Muenchen. I guess I am now in build week 48? Can someone give me a better idea of when will I be seen the car?

That's rough! Sorry to hear that! Hopefully you're right around the corner. Can you call a genius for an update?

Did you find anything on the MPP items?

The Sales Manager I'm working with is still tracking down the BMW accessory contact and said he'd let me know once they've been added to the order. Not sure what that means cause he wasn't sure if the Chassis was available to order for North America. Once I hear more I'll definitely update the post.

Genius cannot track overseas orders, at least that is what they told me. I have to do it the old fashion way. My build is pretty heavy in options, hope nothing holds it up.

My build was complete Aug 29th, got to the port in 2 days, now it sits. Genius tells me it could be 6 to 8 weeks waiting for the ship it has been allocated to. They of course do not have that info until it switches to in transit. I see a boat that will leave Bremerhaven on September 19th with a few stops and then to California and then the one after that is October, maybe I'll get my M440xi Convertible by Christmas :-(

That sounds like a rough time. Sorry you're going through that.
