I just gave up M4 allocation in NJ.
Let me check w/CA to see if it’s still available. If you’re serious buyer LMK. It was as MSRP but this might change being that the car is in 111 status

Thanks man 🦅

Yes I am.

Im only interested in M3 if they can switch to M3

I spoke with Park Ave BMW; $5k mark up and only M4 available at this point

Yeah, I don't think 3s and 4s are interchangeable, because they're built at different plants. Different chassis. I was able to change my M4 allocation to xDrive, but that was the only change I could make.

Crap; that's what I thought.

So they pretty much lock me down with the "refundable" / "Non Refundable" $1,000 deposit.

They have 7 people on a wait list ahead of me too.

Anyway I'll talk with them after work as I randomly try my luck calling BMW dealers near or along east coast.

12 hours in any direction from Connecticut is fine for me to go pick up a car.
im from CT myself, I initially was going to go through the hartford dealership but I was going to be 7 in line there too. Worked with Lou over in BMW new london and he got me on the wait list (first in line). Got an allocation a few weeks later and its in production. My guess if you tried them you would at least be next in line for an allocation. Tell him Dan sent you
Spoke with Lou. Nice dude; wants $2,000 above MSRP.

Have not heard back since this morning.

All good; the dealers are currently in the drivers seat with M3 allocations.

I've burnt myself out chasing an allocation.

So like the other poster; it's whatever at this point.

It's all good. I respect that.

There are plenty people out there with deeper pockets than me.

Msrp + $2,000 and a $1,000 gold bar taped to the hood.

Not gonna stress it…

Just gonna chill at this point. When the time is right I'll get one…

Don't laugh I'm also a huge fan of the Lexsus ES for the luxury etc.

I built a 2022 ES 350 sport with options; $53,000+

I could get that tomorrow but it's not an M3

Just gonna chill

I also started the process with BMW of Fort Washington. They told me 8-12 months for an allocation on an M3. Going with Thompson BMW now and may still put in a deposit at fort washington.

I talked to Bob at Ridgefield before I ordered my car in Oct. All he had was a allocation for a convertible. He called the next day and told me he could swap for a week 47 g82.

There's no such thing as a non-refundable deposit. Don't believe that BS.

I found a dealer with an allocation in New Jersey for an M4 and they had a $5k mark up.

Im going with 6MT M3
I was second in line in Fields BMW Lakeland Florida. Give them a call. I went to tampa and got an allocation right away.

When I talked to them they never mentioned any mark up (fields lakeland). Tampa bmw has a markup right now of 10k, but I know one of the managers and he gave me a good deal. That is why I took my name off Field's list.

I actually spoke with a dealer in Atlanta today that claims they can swap an allocation with another dealer for a March build.

So I'm going to build my car tonight and send the build code or whatever he claims I'll have after I build the car.

Damn it… also noticed the price went up. The M3 pure is now $70,100

My build with options $75,450 not including destination taxes fees

I'll report back after I hear from the dealer tomorrow

Hey Neighbor, i put a deposit on M4 with Fort Washington a week before xmas. Early Jan was told I'm #2 in line. In dec they said I could get M4 by may/june, and M3 would be August at the earliest.

Plenty of us here in ATL. So if you want one of us to drive it up the Blue Ridge Parkway to you, just say the word....You don't mind if we use a dyno-style break in, do you?

Good luck and please let us know. Seems odd that any dealer right now would trade away a G8x allocation to another dealer. Just as I’ve seen dealers unwilling to trade units on the ground (even of normal cars).

Totally agree…

Yeah the dude was very ambitious in everything he was saying so I'm little skeptical.

How do I know if they really have an allocation?

So far i have only seen individual builds being scheduled in march. Regular march build allocations will be sent out to dealers by this month end and i have not seen any reports on those as well.

Do keep us posted on the update.

You rock man; thanks!

This guy claims he's been selling for over 20+ years and has relationships with dealers all over. He did reference some local CT and Boston dealers.

According to this guy access to allocations are better for warmer climate dealers this time of year.

Who knows…

I know many years ago when I was shopping for the new model ZX10R they hit the dealers in Florida before they were up in Connecticut.

I just hope the dude is legit. Already agreed no mark up.

Thanks again…

I'll report back as soon as I hear from them
