That’s very interesting because this information is all over the place. As I said my dealer told me there are four or five stop sales on every single G8X that leaves the factory. He also told me he heard they are running out of parts very soon. I don’t know how true any of this is. The best information we can get is from week 38, 39 and 40 guys to see if they are waiting for stop sales or getting their cars. It’s going to be a little while longer before week 41 guys get theirs. Meanwhile my car is on the way to the port still and your car is at the port. Hopefully they get loaded up on a ship this weekend and head towards North America.

My status hasn't changed. At the Port. I was told that my car does have a stop sale from my CA.

Those of you who had their CA inform the stop sale, is your car G80?
Anyone with G82 that shows a stop sale right this moment? (dispatched, at the port, in transit)?

Yes. My order is for a G80.

I have a G82 and was reconfirmed not to have a stop sale. It's been at the port since 10/26, CA did not have any further details apart from it destination port being Charleston. Really hoping its already on the ship.

For some reason, G80s seem to have better updates on the overall process and stop sales.
Another member's G80 that was built around the same time frame as mine, also loaded on the same vessel is already updated with the stop-sale, while mine still isn't showing anything according to CA.
I guess it'll be at the VPC where they update that and put in a work order.

This further solidifies my observation.
G82s seem to have the stop-sale tagged at a later process (i.e., stateside VPC).

I just heard from my dealer. Audio amplifier stop sale when it gets to the Performance Center. G80. Sigh.

Agreed. Not showing on recall tool. BTW, I called Genius yesterday and they didn't see anything, either.

This is the same stop sale I have(Retrofit Amplifier), do we know the average time to fix? I know the audio modules are being fixed quickly now.. but this seems to be a different part.

I am still dispatched from the factory and Wednesday will make that a week.

I appreciate everyone chiming in giving us your status. I’d like to hear from more people that are supposed to be in week 42. It would also help to specify whether you are a G80 or a G82.

I am a week 39. I was at the port for exactly 1 week, although it took an extra day for the tracker to show in-transit. Hope you catch a boat soon!
