Beer isn't girly either youre thinking of Zima. Its not alcohol content that matters. Vodka straight has as much flavor profile as rubbing alcohol, its for making a girl drink so you can't taste it and get white girl wasted.

I picked some O'Doul's by accident. I ended tossing it in the garbage can.

Back to German beer. While I was stationed in Germany, we came across a German beer truck that had overturned just moments before. There was glass and the most incredible smelling foam/suds everywhere. While it smelled good, it almost made us cry! Such a waste!

The downside of transporting beer in glass bottles, now if it was in aluminium barrels

I'm no beer snob I'll drink pretty much anything. I'm definitely not a big IPA fan although that seems to be the thing now. I'm more of a wheat beer guy. I love me a good hefeweizen. However my all time favorite beer is a blood orange beer from a local brewery called Copperpoint.

Goes with anything since it's vodka, but I recommend ginger beer (and some lime). Gosling's diet ginger beer in particular since it's sugar-free.
Truth be told I like a good "different" vodka too. I have one from Hawaii that is made entirely, start to finish, from pineapples. Its one of the better vodkas I have had. I just don't drink the stuff much. I guess only when I make a martini which is rare AF

For those that don’t like vodka or think it’s a girly drink, try some good, quality vodka sometime. Even Ketel One can be sipped and enjoyed like a good whiskey can.

Wow, 36 months!

I served 13 months in Germany; 8 months in Hanau (Francois Kaserne) and 5 months in Babenhausen. I thought I would be in Germany for 2.5 years, but I got orders for Vietnam. Good bye German beer!
Damn! Yeah, I'm in Bavaria. Stationed in Vilseck/Graf with 7th Army. Been making love to German beer for 3 years now. Gonna miss it.

I've tried several N/A Beers. Becks makes a good one. Heineken isn't too bad. And actually Budweiser makes a fairly good one as well.

Drinking n/a beer is like sleeping with a whore who only wants to cuddle.

I have brewed and run breweries, and thats pretty hoppy stuff. It may be the "type" of hop, believe thats an Imperial, but they bring in some malt to offset a bit...but it has a decent bite.

VooDoo ranger, West Coast by Green Flash, Enjoy Stone all Imperial, and for the most part ones I stay away from, but you may enjoy.

The way it is setup it comes across more like brown sugar to me. Most IPA's are just pure bitter which is why I stay away from them all together. Just zero appeal to me.

I tend to stay away from the 'east coast' IPAs because they often have too much malt, or brown, flavor. I like the dry 'west coast' style!

Becks Blue is what I have and about the best I've tried, not a Heineken fan and haven't seen any Budweiser n/a here.
Barbican n/a is another one which I have to try, quite popular in the Middle East so I read.
