I won't know that frustration .. we have 1,000 miles to drive home from the Performance Center (and a service appointment booked for the first weekday home).

Damn, i mean i don't want to do a one shot deal 1000 miles just to get to break in. It's not just about piling on miles just to get to 1200 miles, but i been trying to vary the RPM's. I start off my drive in everything comfort (my M1 button). Then on the drive home put it in M2 which turns almost everything into sport plus minus the brakes and suspension. That way the revs stay higher and goes through the rpm band more.

Although i think yesterday it did hit 6k by mistake because some idiot was literally going 20mph under the speed limit, in the left fucking lane.

This is why i hate NJ drivers. They seemed to have gotten worse since the pandemic started. It's like everyone became a fucking retard on the road.

Others than filters it's 3.5"-4" silicone transition, and 3"-4" transition. You will also need 36" heavy duty zip-tie. Actually I ordered same 4" diameter filter but they sent me one 3.5" and 4". It actually worked out in my favor. For the passenger side I am using the 3.5", which just slip's inside the intake tube.

So assuming I order two 3.5" filters, I only need the 3.5-4 inch silicon couplers?

No, order 3.5" and 4". And 3.5"-4" transition. Tube size/shape are different from one another. If you buy both 4" you will need 3"-4" transition. Check out the "air intake" in engine sub forum, you will get the general idea. I also got aluminum transitions but couldn't fit them inside our stock pipe, but some were able to, so I ended up getting the silicone type.

I see, I really like the blue ones from BMS since they match the car better but I believe those are only 3.5"

Now that I think about it 3.5" will also work on the driver side, but you will have to push it in further so the clam can be tightened. Give it a try and let us know how it works out. It's got a really "Mature" Woosh sound lol, if it makes any sense. For the sound alone its worth the price of admission, power wise I couldn't careless, but what these other 3rd party vendors putting out, it does gains some HP.

I've bought a few things over the past few weeks, but this one just came in!

I typically don't use any plate frames, but this message feels important enough to put out

A few mods I added over the summer. The most important is the 2nd coat of ceramic, these are un-retouched photos taken at 6am at a park near my house I start my runs at in Newport and the car has not been washed in 6 weeks, they work!

Love the blend mount and new Max360Cam with blend mount. The video quality is very good.

BMW makes a better FE than Porsche, it fits tight against the seat unlike my GT3

IND makes great items.

Car looks great, I have a BG M3 that's heading across the Atlantic right now. Which Fire extinguisher is that? I was wanting to get one...
