Sorry for the delay brother man Der_Wolf
Luxe auto concepts makes the tail tint material, and what’s on my car is specifically “Stealth series - mid smoke”
There is one shade lighter, and one darker, as this is the mid.

One week in and I dig em! Really like how bold they look in bright light and also how minimal the effect is on the light off-put. Still very, very bright and not noticeable at night.

My man came through!! I don't care what the mods say about you, you're a good guy. What about the reflectors? Did you get the kit from IND or have them put tint over it? Thanks!

Lol, you had me scrolling through seeing where I got in trouble!
Just had them put tint over it. His lines are fine for me. Also for all reflectors it was only a $50 line item. I think he was just having fun along with me at this point. Good guy!

Track weekend!

My E92 can easily do 1:50s at this track on PS4S tires and the G80 only managed a 1:48 on P-Zeros before it got way too hot. I liked the P-Zeros initially, but the last two days made me really regret losing the tire lottery. Can't wait for aftermarket wheels for R-compound tires.

Good news: pushing for 6-8 laps after I told the tires to f off in my head and 100F heat and the oil and coolant temperatures stayed surprisingly cool. Stock steel brakes were fine as well.

Hi jonahk - just out of curiosity why do you say it’s a cardinal sin to wrap the roof with PPF? I asked the question in another thread - if there are any issues with this and consensus was no. What’s the reason for not doing it?

EDIT - do you mean you’re thinking about wrapping the carbon roof in carbon-look PPF??

I meant the sin of using "fake" carbon to wrap my non-carbon roof. Normally id thumb my nose at the idea but again the STEK carbon PPF looks so good I think it will nicely match the mirrors and spoiler.

I gave up trying to use film on my tail lights and reflectors. I have used VHT Nightshades on my last few cars, including the M8 that I just sold, and the results are amazing. There are many posts on youtube. Great stuff in my opinion. I'll be using it on my M4.

Laurel Westmont. That dealership was the only one I found in the U.S. with the Dravit Gray and Tartufo Bucket Seats. The M8 that I just sold was gray and a 2016 M4 that I had a few years ago was gray. I also owned an Audi R8 and a Nissan GTR that were both gray. I like the color. The R8 and M8 had bronze powder coated wheels that were super sharp.
